Microsoft plans to launch a gaming streaming platform by the end of the year xCloudto be merged with the subscription service Xbox game pass, and it seems that accessories manufacturers are actively preparing for this event.
It became known that the manufacturer 8BitDo, specializing in creating retro-styled and alternative modern gamepads, adapted its NES retro-controller to the needs of Microsoft Project xCloud service.
The miniature Bluetooth gamepad is compatible with all Android tablets and smartphones, and is officially licensed by Microsoft as a device for the xCloud and Xbox platforms. The built-in rechargeable battery allows the controller to work for 18 hours in a row, and the USB-C port is used to charge it. Complete with a gamepad there is a special fixture for connecting a smartphone or tablet. It provides for some positioning adjustments.
Since when creating this controller 8BitDo cooperates with Microsoft, it will have separate software that will allow you to customize the buttons and adjust the sensitivity of triggers and sticks. In addition, support for profiles between which they will be allowed to switch will be available.
Controller SN30 Pro already available for pre-order Amazon online store for $ 45. The device will go on sale September 21 this year.. Allegedly, the release date for the gamepad has nothing to do with Microsoft’s plans to launch xCloud. Nevertheless, this may be the first sign that the cloud platform will soon leave the preliminary testing stage and get to the launch of a full-fledged application. New information may be presented as part of the Xbox Games Showcase announced on the eve of the presentationto be held on July 23.
Earlier company 8BitDo released Keychain Controller for Switch, miniature gamepad for Switch Lite, classic sega genesis controllers and retro NES gamepad.
Xbox fans can play through the xCloud cloud service with the standard Xbox controller.
