Edition The verge released a review of the iPhone 12 Pro, which talks about problems with the battery life of the smartphone in the mode 5G and mmWave… The device was discharged literally in a matter of hours.
As told Nilai Patel from The Verge, while testing the device, he noticed that the iPhone 12 Pro’s battery drained significantly faster when 5G was on than when it was turned off. As the journalist noted, in just 2.5 hours of the screen turned on, it has about 18% of the charge left…
The results were also influenced by testing the ultra-fast mmWave technology. In this mode, according to Patel, he managed to achieve a download speed up to 2 Gbps… But despite the impressive capabilities, the technology turned out to be very unstable: as soon as you move back 30 meters, the signal switched to regular 5G.
