HBO has announced the premiere date of a new science fiction series Lovecraft Countrywhose producers are J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peel.
The project starts on August 16, and its plot tells about Atticus Freeman, who is looking for his father. Together with his uncle and girlfriend, he goes on a trip to America in the 50s, full of dangers and secrets – including some monsters.
For the script of the series, based on the novel of the same name, meets Misha Green (Spartak: Blood and Sand)
