Netflix announced that the second season “Witcher“Will open a series based on the story”A grain of truth“.
This, in turn, is a free adaptation “Beauties and Beasts “, which Andrzej Sapkowski published in the first collection of The Witcher – “Last wish“.
According to showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrick, after the first season, she was afraid that short stories from collections could no longer be included in the series, but the creators found a way out – they adapted the story and made Ciri a part of it.
The second season of The Witcher will premiere on December 17 on Netflix.
