I prefer to play on easy difficulty for various reasons, but even so, I had to restart several scenarios because it took several tries to find the right balance of resources and army.
The game has multiple difficulty levels, but if you’re new to the franchise or need some time to figure out how new units and mechanics work, the learning curve can seem steep.
However, if you hold out, you will find that it will be worth it. Plus, if you’re tired of it all, just turn on Free Build Mode and explore new troops, defenses, and mechanics in a much more relaxing environment.
