On Apple TV + the release of a new drama took place “Slant” with Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home) starring.
The film tells the story of a military doctor who returns home after battles with PTSD. He tries to cope with psychological problems, but instead becomes addicted to pills and also puts his young wife on them. And when the couple runs out of money, they decide to start robbing banks.
The tape is criticized for its predictability and excessive passion for style over content, although many praise the work of Holland himself.
Many viewers who managed to see the picture (in the USA it was released on February 26) disagree with the critics. On Metacritic, the film scores 6.8 from viewers, while Rotten Tomatoes has a higher score of 77%.
On Apple TV +, Slant is available with dubbing and Russian subtitles.
