Publisher 505 Games and studio developers One more level announced that a first-person action movie Ghostrunner will be released on September 28 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Owners of the game on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will receive the update to nextgen for free.
The authors note that on the next generation consoles, players will have support for HDR, 3D audio and DualSense controller features, as well as 4K resolution at 120 FPS, fast downloads and a ray tracing mode.
Also, new versions will receive all additional game modes and photo modes that appeared after the release of the game. Earlier, the developers talked about plans to support Ghostrunner until the end of this fall. Already this summer, players are waiting for the Wave and Assist modes.
Last month, 505 Games and One More Level entered into an agreement to develop and release a sequel to Ghostrunner for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Then it became known that sales of the original action movie reached 600 thousand copies.
