In the new film franchise, the performer of the cult role of John McClane will play a retired officer named Robert, who, along with his son (Jesse Metcalfe) will have to fight back a group of criminals led by Balzari (Chad Michael Murray) invading a top secret retired US intelligence establishment.
The production of the first part of “Fortress” has already started in Puerto Rico, and in the director’s chair is James Cullen Brassac (“Curse of blood“). It is also reported that the shooting of the first and second films will be combined. The timing of the premiere has not yet been announced.
