The player introduces a third-person camera into the Resident Evil Village – this is what comes out of it

It’s no secret that some fans Resident evil negatively perceive the camera with a first-person view instead of the usual perspective for the games of the series from behind the protagonist. As in the seventh part, in the new Resident evil village we’re also watching events from Ethan Winters’ eyes, which continues to discourage some fans from getting to know the project. However, custom add-ons come to the rescue, as usual.

The solution to the issue regarding changing the camera to a third-person view can be an add-on from a modder Fluffyquack, which he is currently trying to bring to a “digestible” state.

As the enthusiast notes, in its current form, the modification makes it almost impossible to interact with objects, since it is tied to the distance of the camera. In addition to this, it becomes difficult to aim while firing. The modder himself is not yet sure whether he will be able to make the new horror game fully playable with a third-person view. However, he continues to work on the mod.

Among other things, it turned out that Ethan Winters’ model does not contain a head, but this nuance is solved by changing the character model.

Resident Evil Village is available at Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox one, Xbox Series X | S and Google Stadia
