A resident of Robertson County, Tennessee, who was playing video games during a thunderstorm, was struck by electricity from a wired controller when lightning struck nearby. This was reported by the US National Weather Service through its social networks.
The man who received an electric shock called an ambulance, but as a result of the examination by doctors, hospitalization was not required. It was found that the lightning strike hit the house, or somewhere nearby, and the gamepad, which the hero of the news was holding in his hands at that moment, became the guide.
Last year, there was a similar incident with a progamer in Rocket league James “Karma” Bickford, who was struck by lightning during a live broadcast.
