Disney + ordered a new animated animated series from Lucasfilm entitled Star Wars Defective Party.
The main characters of the project will be members of the same detachment of clones “Defective Party” that appeared in the animated series The Clone Wars – in particular, one of the plots of the final season was dedicated to them.
The project will unfold after those very wars. When the former leaders turned away from the detachment, the heroes had to embark on the path of mercenaries, exploring different corners of the galaxy.
Dave Filoni, who also worked on other franchise animation projects, will be the executive producer. The main screenwriter will be Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance), and directed by Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels)
The premiere of the animated series will take place at Disney + in 2023.
