According to the official, 5G works mainly in the range up to 6 GHz, and 4G uses the 3 GHz band. This does not differ too much, therefore it is not worth talking about the dangers of the fifth generation of communications.
The specialist also said that in Russia one of the most stringent sanitary standards in the world for electromagnetic radiation. Currently, his department is discussing with Rospotrebnadzor the possibility of changing them so that these standards do not inhibit the development of new types of communications.
Finally, Ivanov ruled out the environmental impact of the new generation of base stations. According to him, next to the transmitters, the trees grow without any problems.
