August 23 in the group stage ESL One Fall 2023 there will be eight Dota 2 meetings. Among them is a match Virtus.pro against Tundra Esports and meeting Team Spirit with Creepwave… We decided to check who can guess the most correct outcomes of the confrontations – RuHub studio or Bookmaker Rating.

And if the defeat from beastcoast can still be explained by the fact that the Peruvians, in principle, are able to beat anyone, then a draw with Team Empire defies any logical explanation. Still I will take my words back – Xiao8 on the central corridor does not win, and sometimes even loses. The “director” is a weak link in the PSG.LGD roster, and this will come back to haunt at this tournament more than once. Alliance is not in the best game form, but PSG.LGD, judging by the first game day, is still worse. So we choose Alliance to win, but with caution.

If Liquid lost one of the matches with the South American teams, then it would be worthwhile to think about whether the complete lack of motivation has a fatal effect on the result. Is Empire capable of fighting Liquid? Yes. But the probability of the first outcome is still higher, even if yesterday the “Imperials” managed to take points from PSG.LGD. Seriously, Tundra is now in almost the best shape of all the teams participating in the tournament. And only Virtus.pro can compete with them. In the first two days “Bears” skated through their opponents, like Tundra, so this match can rightfully be called a meeting for the first place in the group.
Perhaps, somewhere in the sub-core, there is still a feeling that Virtus.pro is now stronger than Tundra, so let’s not invent anything and put our hearts on our CIS guys.

Still, it didn’t work out not to tilt. Team Spirit started the tournament well, beating T1, but still the match showed some minor problems in the game of “dragons”. And already in the second meeting of the tournament with the principal rivals from Virtus.pro, Spirit’s game fell apart. And it fell so much that even in the match with Tundra it was not possible to recover. There is perhaps only one thing that pleases Spirit fans – the next opponents look weaker than the previous ones. And, perhaps, it is the match with Creepwave that should return Spirit to morality. The opponent is far from the most skillful, you can beat even in class, and in general, Creepwave’s play at this tournament leaves much to be desired. So we are waiting for an easy 2: 0 from the “dragons”.
