In February of this year, the company Nintendo officially announced HD remaster The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Switchhowever, many fans of the franchise were hoping for more as it celebrates its 35th anniversary this year.
However, in the latest episode of his podcast, the insider NateDrake reported that Coming soon to Nintendo Switch is The Legend of Zelda anniversary collection, very similar to the recent Super Mario 3D All-Stars compilation…
According to him, it will include re-editions of adventure The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker with minimal improvements, as both games have previously been updated for Wii U.
In addition to the Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, the Nintendo Hybrid Console should also feature two classic titles in the series, namely The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, which debuted on the Nintendo 64 in 1998 and 2000, respectively. As NateDrake clarified, they will be released independently of each other and will be available for purchase in the digital store eShop before the end of this year… It is not yet clear whether these will be direct ports or full-fledged remasters with improved graphics and controls. Previously, Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask were also adapted for Nintendo 3DS.
