As previously reported, Pokemon Legends: Arceus departs from the usual canons of the series and shifts the focus towards in-depth exploration of open world locations and new role-playing elements. Pokémon trainers will travel across vast lands, catch wild creatures and participate in turn-based battles. The action will unfold in the “feudal” version of the Sinnoh region. The legendary Pokemon Artsey will play an important role in the plot.
In today’s trailer, for the first time, the developers showed Pokemon catching in the open world, several battle styles and movement on land, water and air while riding pocket monsters. In the video, you can see the regional variants of Growlith, Baskulin, Stantler and Braviary, as well as spell-affected creatures with red eyes that behave especially aggressively.
