Studio Naughty dog openly declares that The Last of Us: Part II – Her most ambitious project in history, but until recently it was not entirely clear how this would be expressed in the duration of the game. Well, now we know how much time it will take to complete the story.
In an interview with GQ Creative Director Naughty Dog Neil Drackmann confirmed that the duration of the game is from 25 before 30 hours. In an article, reporters called The Last of Us 2 “Naughty Dog’s Double Album” and “A History of Revenge on the Scope of Two Games Together.”
According to How Long To Beat, which tracks game duration, it takes an average of 15.5 hours to complete the main story of the first The Last of Us. It turns out that the sequel will be almost two times longer than the original.
The game will be released on June 19th exclusively on Playstation 4. In the same conversation, Drackmann said that he was already thinking about the next project. It may be The Last of Us 3 or a new IP.
