Streaming service Netflix announced an anime series Godzilla: Singular Point, which will be created by the team Bones (“My hero academy“) in collaboration with the studio Orange (“Outstanding beasts“,”Land of gemsThe show will combine hand-drawn animation and CG graphics.
The author is responsible for character design “Blue Exorcist” Kazue Kato, while the new look of the king of monsters himself will be created by the legendary animator from the studio Ghibli Eiji Yamamori… The animation series will be directed by Atsushi Takahashi (“New Doraemon: Big Adventure in Antarctica“).
Previously, Netflix already released full-length anime films about the iconic monster, such as “Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters“,”Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle“and”Godzilla: The Planet Eater“, however, they will not be connected with the upcoming animated series.
Godzilla: Singular Point is slated to premiere in 2023.
