Film company Central partnership introduced the latest trailer for the film “Sagittarius” from Alexander Petrov starring.
The film is based on real events and tells the story of a popular Soviet football player Eduard Streltsovwhose career was ruined in 1958 due to false accusations of raping a girl. Once behind bars, Streltsov does not lose hope and after 5 years he returns to big football again.
Official synopsis:
“By the age of 20, he has everything that you can dream of: talent, money, fame, love. He is Eduard Streltsov, the rising star of Soviet football and the idol of millions. The whole country awaits the victory of the Soviet team at the upcoming World Cup in Sweden and Streltsov’s duel with Pele. But two days before the team’s departure, the ill-wishers break the athlete’s fate … When the road to football seems to be permanently cut off, Streltsov must do the impossible to return and prove to everyone that he is a champion. “
In addition to Petrov, Viktor Dobronravov, Vitaliy Khaev, Stasia Miloslavskaya, Alexander Yatsenko and others also starred in the film. The film will premiere on April 16th.
