The flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra are presented – they can shoot video in 8K resolution

At today’s presentation Galaxy UNPACKED company Samsung officially revealed the new flagship smartphones Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra. Devices got displays 6.2, 6.7 and 6.9 inches Quad HD + Dynamic AMOLED 2X, respectively. All support HDR 10+ and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screens.

Samsung paid much attention to the cameras of new devices at the presentation. The Galaxy S20 and S20 + received 64-megapixel main cameras, the Galaxy S20 Ultra – the main sensor with a resolution of 108 megapixels. For the most advanced model, a heavy-duty 100x zoom is announced.

Moreover, the entire trinity of flagships is capable of recording video in 8K resolution. Samsung says that any freeze frame from such a video can be turned into a perfect photo with a resolution of 33 MP.

Exynos 990 became the hardware platform of S20 smartphones. The younger models received 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, the oldest – 12 GB. They work on the basis of the Android 10 operating system with the One UI 2 shell.

S20 received a battery of 4000 mAh, S20 + – 4500 mAh, S20 Ultra – 5000 mAh. You can fully charge the devices in just 30 minutes.

Prices for devices in basic configurations (with 128 GB of internal flash memory) are 69,990 rubles for the Galaxy S20, 79,990 for the Galaxy S20 + and 99,990 rubles for the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Smartphones will go on sale March 13.
