Film companies Channel 5, Fable pictures and Sony Pictures Television presented the first shot from the upcoming historical television series “Ann Bolein“featuring a British actress Jodie Turner-Smith, who played the role of Anne Boleyn herself. The show will tell about the last years of the Queen Consort of England, mother of Elizabeth I.
The British three-part mini-series will show the classic story of the second wife of the English king Henry VIII Tudor through the prism of her view of the position of women in high society in the 16th century, and Anne Boleyn herself will appear before the audience as a fighter against the patriarchal society of the Tudor era.
Filming for the series ended in December last year, and will premiere in the coming months.
