Yakuza: Like a Dragon (aka Yakuza 7) transfers the series to the next stage after completing the story of Kazuma Kiryu. The project, which acquired a new setting, a protagonist and even a combat system, has high hopes.
Today, as part of the IGN Expo event, the developers for the first time showed the English version of the game, and also paid attention to the turn-based combat system, employment system, open world map and aspects of its research. In addition, the authors did not forget to talk about various activities: mini-games, secondary tasks, story side quests, a dating system (similar to what we saw in the Persona series), business management tasks and much more.
Japan release Yakuza: Like a Dragon held in January this year on the PlayStation 4.
In the West, the game will be released in late 2023 in versions for PS4, PC, Xbox one and Xbox Series X. In the case of the next-generation prefix from Microsoft, the new Yakuza will be among the starting projects.
