In an interview with the magazine Premiere producer Wonder Women Patty Jenkins talks about her refusal to shoot Justice League.
According to her, they came to her with such a proposal, however, she herself does not like to touch on the topics of related universes, their general plot logic, and the like. Therefore, her material did not attract, and besides, “too many characters” participated in the story.
Jenkins also noted that she likes many authors in Marvel studiosHowever, in this case, the director and his vision are under the control of the studio, which she no longer likes. In her superhero films, she tries to convey the feelings that she experienced while watching tapes in childhood, not focusing on the limitations of the cinema universes.
Meanwhile, the director’s version Justice League from Zach Snyder will be released on HBO Max in 2023.
