Codemasters spoke about what classes of cars will be available in the future racing simulator DiRT 5. There will be twelve of them, from heavy trucks to light buggies.
Cross raid – Created specifically for driving in difficult areas, trucks like the Volkswagen Race Touareg 3 and Laffite G-Tec X-Road: this car first appears in the series.
Rock bouncer – Differ in huge wheels and a safety cage.
Formula Off Road – for fast off-road driving, for example WS Auto Racing Mudclaw.
Ally cross – The basis of the DiRT series, for example the Peugeot 208 WRX and Citroen C3 R5.
Classic ally – iconic cars like the Fiata 131 Abarth Rally and Porsche 924 GTS Rallye.
80s rally – From the familiar Ford RS200 to the debutant of the Porsche 959 Prodrive Rally Raid.
90s rally – cars from the beginning of the popularity of off-road racing: Subaru Impreza S4, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI.
Ally gt – luxury cars that can handle off-road, for example, Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT-4 and Porsche 911 R-GT.
Sprint – Fast cars with a capacity of 900 horsepower.
Pre runners – Light trucks like the Aston Martin DBX.
Super lites – the lightest cars, for example, Ariel Nomad Tactical and Exomotive Exocet Off-Road.
Unlimited – Jimco Unlimited Truck, Brenthel Industries Unlimited Truck and others.
DiRT 5 is released October 9 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Over time, it will also appear on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
