Studio CD Projekt RED keeps fixing Cyberpunk 2077… The developers have released a hotfix today 1.22 for the PC version.
The main innovation of the update was a patch for the discovered security vulnerability… In simple terms, the flaw made the PC-user vulnerable to hacker attacks when using mods and other people’s save files for the game.
Hotfix 1.12 is now available on PC!
This update resolves a vulnerability that could be exploited as part of remote code execution (including save files):
– Fixed buffer overflow problem;

Initially, it was assumed that the exploit was present only in the PC version, but later it was confirmed that the PlayStation 4 was also affected by this vulnerability. The corresponding patch has not yet been released on the Sony console.
CDPR is currently working on the next major patch. According to the roadmap of updates, it should be released in the coming weeks…
