Square Enix is preparing to present a reissue of the last three parts Tomb raider in the format of a general collection by analogy with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection… The trilogy page has already appeared in the Microsoft Store digital store.
According to the leaked information, the collection will be called Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy and will offer the complete editions of Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider under one wrapper with all updates and previously released DLCs… Apparently, the re-release will not offer any improvements for the new consoles. At least the description doesn’t say anything about it.
Definitive Survivor Trilogy is due to be released March 18th and will obviously be tied to the series’ 25th anniversary celebration, with Square Enix scheduled a series of related news and fan activities over the coming months.
At the same time, it has already been confirmed that in the foreseeable future, the announcement of a new big game in the Tomb Raider series should not be expected.
