Studio inXile Enterainment prepared the next issue of developer diaries, this time making the main theme of the story the importance and the possibility of choosing Wasteland 3.
The selection starts already on the character creation screen. The developers proceeded from the thesis that after the apocalypse there were no completely normal left, so each of our hero will have different quirks. Some of them will be very useful in battle.
The creators of Wasteland 3 made sure that in the character editor, the players understood how their choice would affect the process. For this, all characteristics were provided with explanatory texts and even comparative charts.
For those who do not want to delve deeply into the features of the role-playing system, they have prepared “template” duet teams. In particular, we are shown a former soldier William and his daughter Li Qing. The girl takes over the negotiations, and the father covers her with fire.
The video also shows the features of our tank: a mobile base that plays the role of transport, a heavy gun, a fortress, and everything else. This combat vehicle can also be improved, strengthened and tuned, paying attention not only to combat qualities, but also to appearance.
Wasteland 3 will be released on August 28 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
