The authors of “Shadows and Bones” talked about the fantastic world of the series – Igromania

The authors of the new Netflix fantasy series “Shadow and Bone” released a fresh video dedicated to the local universe and the production of the show.

The plot of the project tells about a world inspired by Tsarist Russia of the early 19th century. Here the country is divided into two parts by a mysterious canyon full of gloomy creatures and darkness.

When the two main characters, Alina and Mal, set off on a journey through the danger zone, the characters realize that the girl has the ability to summon light. The latter can help in the destruction of the canyon, but this power attracts many other enemies – especially since the land is torn apart by war.

The series is based on several of Lee Bardugo’s original works, including the trilogy itself. “Grisha” and characters of the dilogy “Six of Crows”

In general, “Grisha” refers to all people with abilities, which are divided here into three categories: some can control the elements of nature, others physical materials and chemicals, and the latter – the bodies of other people. But the hero of Ben Barnes (“The Punisher”) has the ability to take control of darkness and shadows.

The first season of eight episodes will premiere on the service on 23 April. The scriptwriter of the project was Eric Heisserer (“Arrival”)
