the authors of Pioner showed a combat system – Igromania

Not so long ago, a Russian studio GFA Games announced Pioner, a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter with survival and RPG elements. And now the developers have released a new trailer that explains the combat system.

The setting of the game reminds of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Players will find themselves on a Soviet island, cut off by the zvb anomaly, inhabited by mutants and with an increased level of radiation. But if in spirit Pioner is close to both the Strugatsky story and the creation Gsc game world, then its gameplay will be noticeably different.

To fight the island monsters, you will have to resort to special types of weapons and ammunition, including special cartridges and even artifacts. Weapon modifications will play an important role in success, and they will be changed on the fly.

Pioner does not have a release date yet, but it is planned to release it on PC at the end of the year or in early 2023. Regarding whether the game will appear in Steam or will become exclusive Epic Games, negotiations are still underway.
