Back in 2018 Shanghai studio Pixpil announced its debut project, isometric role-playing game Eastwardinspired by The legend of zelda, Earthbound beginnings and classic Japanese animation from the 1990s.
Eastward should finally make it to release this year, with the game coming to PC and Nintendo Switch. And what awaits the players, you can understand thanks to the recording of the gameplay, published on the channel IGN… We are shown about 25 minutes of the passage of a new game location, the vast city of Quake City.
Eastward takes place in a dying world where there are almost no people left. We will control two characters at once: the excavator John and a mysterious girl named Sam. In the video, you can see the exploration of territories, battles with monsters and even a mini-game with driving a jeep.
