Streaming channel Netflix ordered a new show to the animator, screenwriter, actor and producer Pendleton Ward, who is primarily known from the animated series “Adventure Time“And”Brave warriors“. The company will be made up of comedian Duncan Trassell, a podcast host The Duncan Trussell Family Hour.
This podcast will be a source of inspiration when creating an animated series for adults. The midnight gospel, “Midnight Sermon.” Netflix describes the future show as a “psychocosmic adventure.”
The protagonist of the series The Midnight Gospel will be a space traveler named Clancy, who has a faulty multiverse simulator. Clancy travels through dying worlds and interviews their inhabitants.
For the first season, eight episodes are planned. The studio will draw them Titmouse, previously released teenage animated series “Big mouth“. The Midnight Gospel will be released on Netflix in 2023.
Next year, fans of Adventure Time are also waiting for a special premiere. Entitled Adventure Time: Distant Lands four hourly special episodes will be released.
