The action of the “Blade that cuts the demons” takes place in Japan during the Taisho period. The kind-hearted boy Tanjiro sells coal, but one day he finds his family killed by a demon. And his younger sister Nezuko – the only survivor – herself turned into evil. Tanjiro, devastated by what had happened, decides to become a killer of demons in order to turn his sister into a man and avenge the offspring who took his family.
