Within the Tokyo Game Show 2023 publishing house Square enix presented a trailer for the game NieR Re[in]carnation, which is an offshoot from the main series, designed for smartphones and tablets. At the same time, the project will be released in the West, but the release date has not yet been disclosed.
Judging by the video presented, the gameplay will not be limited to races around the castle. Re[in]carnation will juggle different types of gameplay, also including side-scrolling stages and turn-based battles. The description says that the player needs to fix the story, returning it to its “original state”.
