During the presentation Tesla AI Daydedicated to artificial intelligence, the announcement of a 173-centimeter robot that looks like a person took place. An android weighing 57 kilograms is capable of moving at a speed of up to 8 kilometers per hour and lifting weight up to 20 kilograms.
Tesla Bot will function autonomously and execute the simplest orders, for example, go to the store for groceries. Tesla has created an AI-powered robot for performing dangerous tasks that uses its electric vehicles on autopilot.
Tesla Bot orients itself in space using cameras, and the resulting image is processed by a neural network. The FSDC computer is responsible for the work. Instead of a face, the robot has a screen to display useful information. The first prototype is planned to be released by the end in 2023.
