Tearaway: Unfolded Testing by VGC Shows Saved Game Load Time Reduced 50 before 35 seconds, while another user’s save load decreased by more than a minute – from 2 minutes 10 seconds to 1 minute 8 seconds… At the same time, the speed of launching a new game remained within the same range – 16 seconds before installing a fresh patch and 15 seconds after.
Many older games have been updated on PS4 in recent weeks, including God of War, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Concrete Genie, God of War III: Remastered, PlayStation VR Worlds, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, and Everybody’s Golf VR. Sony previously noted that at launch, PS5 will be compatible with over 99% of all PlayStation 4 games… At the moment, the list of titles incompatible with the new console has only 10 projects, and the developers of some of them have already announced that they plan to update their games to work on the PS5.
