Tales of Arise tested in demo: Quality mode is better on Xbox Series X, downloads – on PS5

RPG demo Tales of arise by Bandai Namco released today on Xbox and PlayStation. The ElAnalistaDeBits channel has already tested the demo on all systems and shared the results

Resolution and performance:

  • Xbox One – 972p and ~ 35 FPS
  • Xbox One X – 1872p and ~ 35 FPS
  • PS4 – 1080p and ~ 35 FPS
  • PS4 Pro: 1440p and ~ 35 FPS
  • Xbox Series S – 1 mode: 1440p and ~ 45 FPS, 2 mode: 1080p and 60 FPS
  • Xbox Series X – 1 mode: 2160p ~ 50 FPS, 2 mode: 1620p and 60 FPS
  • PS5 – 1 mode: 2160p and ~ 45 FPS, 2 mode: 1620p and 60 FPS

General:

  • In all versions, the frame rate is unlocked, but the stable 60 FPS shows only the versions for new consoles in performance mode;
  • The Xbox Series X averages 15 FPS higher than the PlayStation 5 in quality mode, but the Sony console shows slightly faster load times;
  • On the base PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, some textures and shadows have been trimmed.

The full release of Tales of Arise will take place on September 10 on two generations of PlayStation and Xbox, as well as PC.
