Developers from Facepunch studios released a major graphics update for the survival simulator Rust… Players will find new terrain, trees, stones, rocks, decor, grass, monuments and much more.
The authors also noted that they have fixed a huge number of long-standing problems related to monuments, procedural world generation and vulnerabilities.
Several monuments have been completely redesigned and seamlessly integrated many of them into the procedurally generated world. For example, a controlled crane with a magnet appeared at the new dump, with which vehicles can be thrown into a shredder to get scrap metal and other resources.
In addition, large monuments and hubs have received unique entrances to the underground railway network. At the same time, the developers tried to maintain the current level of performance or improve it.
Finally, the authors added support for Nvidia Reflex technology, which reduced input lag by up to 38%. A complete list of innovations, improvements and fixes – follow the link.
