Just as part of the broadcast Night city wire Studio CD Projekt RED announced an unexpected collaboration – full anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunnerscreated by the company Netflix and famous Japanese studio Trigger.

As told Sayi Elder, one of the Japanese producers CD Projekt RED, the company has long dreamed of working on its own anime. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is completely isolated from Cyberpunk 2077 a story whose events will unfold in familiar scenery Night citybut affected by new heroes and their adventures.
“Cyberpunk is a genre that originated in the days of our youth. Therefore, we are very happy to work in this direction after so many years. Our ten-year anniversary is approaching, and we have put together the best team to give you a great show,” says Trigger statement.
Studio Trigger known for such anime as Kill la kill, Little witch academia and BNA: Brand New Animal. To work on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners gathered veterans of the team, including the animator and director Yo yoshinarias well as the director Hiroyuki Imaishi. The legendary composer will work on the soundtrack for the future series Akira Yamaokafamous for the cult series Silent hill.
Premiere Cyberpunk: Edgerunners scheduled for 2023 year.
