Surprise: FEZ Platformer Released On Switch And Now Sells At A Discount

The original version of FEZ was released on the Xbox 360 in April 2012, after which, in May 2013, it was ported to the PC, and a year later it reached the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. An iOS release followed in December 2017.

FEZ tells the story of a creature named Gomez who lives in a two-dimensional world, but one day discovers the existence of a mysterious third dimension. Using the ability to rotate the world around him 90 degrees to the left or right, the hero must move forward on his journey, solve puzzles, and collect cubes and fragments of cubes.

The project has been highly acclaimed by critics, has received numerous awards and has sold over 1 million copies… A sequel was being prepared for the game, but in 2013, due to another scandal, the creator of FEZ Phil Fish announced his retirement from the industry, canceling the development of a sequel in the process. At the same time, the studio he founded Polytron still exists and it was she who was responsible for bringing the game to the Switch.
