Streaming service Netflix and studio Skydance suddenly announced a collaboration that will create an anime-style animated series based on “Terminator“.
At the moment, there are few details about the project. Showrunner and executive producer of the project will be the screenwriter of last year’s superhero film “Project Power” and co-author of the new “Batman” Mattson Tomlin, and a Japanese studio will be responsible for the animation Production I.G, known for anime films and TV series based on the manga “Ghost in the Shell”.
“The most terrifying killer machine in the history of science fiction will return as promised,” reads the text of the announcement.
