EA launched a new update for its multiplayer bouncers Knockout City – now the game has superpowers. True, for a limited period: from August 24 to September 7.
The update was part of the second season of Knockout City. For a limited time, players will be able to take part in the “3v3” mode, where after each respawn superhero forces will be distributed in a random order.
There will be 7 abilities in total:
- Ballform Bounce – a special sword-shaped jump with bump pads;
- Charge-Up – additional recharge for catches and passes;
- Tackle Strike – a dash towards the enemy will deal damage to him;
- Double Jump – double jump;
- Healing Powers – spent hearts are replenished over time;
- Strength – the ability to raise the enemy;
- X-Ray Vision – The ability to see the enemy and aim through walls.
Also during the event, players will have the opportunity to receive special equipment of the “Heroes of Knockout City”.
Knockout City is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and PS5 with Xbox Series for backward compatibility.
