Publisher Deviolver Digital and studio WolfEye published an action RPG gameplay trailer Weird west… The game will be released in the fall of 2023 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Weird West is a distinct subgenre of films, games, books and comics that mixes the Wild West setting with supernatural elements. WolfEye calls their project an immersive sim, which not only adapts to the player’s actions, but also boasts a branched narrative.
This should not be surprising, since the backbone of the studio is made up of veterans. Arkane… Former President of Arkane is responsible for the development of Weird West Raphael Calantonio (Dishonored, Prey, Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic), who took over as the game’s creative director. Gael Giraudot (Dishonored, Splinter Cell: Double Agent) acted as a game designer, and was appointed executive producer Julien Robie (Dishonored, Mafia III, Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic).
