American Film Academy decided to slightly change the rules of the ceremony “Oscar”, in particular, the issue of nominees for “Best movie”.
Starting from 2023 and the 94th award ceremony, the number of participants will cease to change and will be limited to a constant single number – a total of ten ribbons will be presented in the category.
In addition, representatives of the film academy promised to expand the racial and other diversity of their ceremony. A new commission will be engaged in the creation of additional regulations and rules. How exactly this will affect the awards in the future is not yet clear.
