Star-Lord isn’t the only Guardian with a new story. 12 years before the events of the game, there was an intergalactic war against the Chitauri. During this war, Drax was able to accomplish what he could not do in the MCU, namely, to kill Thanos.
As for Gamora, she is still Thanos’ adopted daughter, who also took part in the war with the Chitauri. However, due to her past, she was unable to achieve hero status.
These are not all the new details that await players in the new Guardians Of The Galaxy. Fortunately, there is very little left to wait: there are more than two months left before the release of the game. Already on October 26, new Guardians stories will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
