The development team posted the following message:
“Happy New Year! We think it’s very important for players to give Outriders a chance to personally try it out before its release, so they can decide if they want to pre-order or buy it after release.
It is for this reason that we are pleased to announce that a free demo of the game will be released on February 25, 2023, which will allow everyone to go through the first few hours of Outriders, trying out the gameplay for all four character classes – both in single player and in co-op. All progress from the demo can be transferred to the full version of the game.
By the way, about the full version. We’ve decided to postpone Outriders until April 1st, 2023 (no kidding!). We will be able to spend extra time optimizing to provide players with a fantastic gaming experience on launch day.
