The most popular music service Spotify, according to MBW and Variety, finally launched in Russia – the premiere is due July 15th.
The platform’s partner at the start will be “MTS“. Other details have not yet been announced.
Spotify went to Russia for a long time: the initial launch was expected back in 2014, but plans were constantly changing, and the launch was postponed. According to one version, the company had a conflict with Warner bros, which did not give the opportunity to start in the region.
At the beginning of 2023, the situation seemed to be resolved, but the release was again postponed – already because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The monthly subscription cost should be 169 rubles, and the family – 269 rubles.
