Independent team Pixelmad Studios introduced the debut gameplay trailer for role-playing action Soulborncreated for next-generation consoles Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This is the first officially announced RPG for non-x-ray systems.
According to the authors of the game, the sources of inspiration for them are Scandinavian mythology, as well as such iconic franchises as The legend zelda and The witcher.
The events of the game take place 644 years after the first Ragnarok, which entailed the death of all the gods. However, Midgard was reborn and other deities appeared with it.
In Soulborn, players take control of Brinjar Townschild, who holds the most powerful weapon in all nine worlds – Mjolnir.
According to the description, players are expected to explore a large open world full of secrets, new areas and their inhabitants.
During the adventure, you will have to fight a lot, solve complex puzzles and improve your skills in order to defeat the great snake Needhegg and prevent the next Ragnarok.
The project release date is not yet called.
