According to the report, the company is recruiting new managers to the team who will help launch the next-generation console “10. 2023. ” The date was clearly spelled out in numbers, so doubts about the incorrect translation fell away.
Japanese magazine Famitsu contacted SIE directly to clarify the rumor in the air. An official spokesman for the company denied the information, saying that “a mistake was made on the site and the job description does not match the text compiled by the company.”
The actual job description reads:
“You will be prototyping and purchasing PlayStation hardware. Choose the best suppliers from among domestic and foreign partners, collaborate with the departments of design and quality assurance on the issues of adjusting specifications and production capacities for iron components, as well as build the PlayStation 5 in October 2023. “
A PlayStation 5 release is currently scheduled for the 2023 Christmas holidays.
