Users report that the next patch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can already be pre-loaded on PS4 – it weighs 36 gigabytes, but it will not be installed until tomorrow morning (09:00 Moscow time).
This is the first time of its kind on PS4, when the next update is given to download in advance. Considering the players’ dissatisfaction with the size of the patches for the shooter, such a move from the side Sony and Activision looks logical.
The patch has been downloaded, but it will only be possible to install it on August 4 at 09:00 Moscow time
Infinity Ward confirmed yesterday that the size of the Season 5 update will be large enough, but the overall size of the game will decrease after it is installed. In addition, the developers once again remind you that you can remove the campaign and co-op mode on consoles.
It should be noted that not all users were able to preload the latest patch: our American copy of Modern Warfare, for example, was not updated. Perhaps the update is being released gradually.
There is no season 5 patch pre-download on Xbox One and PC.
