Company Sony Interactive Entertainment decided to cancel its participation in the game festival PAX East 2023to be held in Boston from February 27 to March 1. The reason is concern over the rate of spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
“[…] We are sorry to make such a decision, but the health and safety of employees around the world is our main concern, “the report said.
At PAX East 2023, the company planned for the first time to allow ordinary gamers to play an ambitious adventure thriller. The Last of Us: Part II. Demos of the following games for Playstation 4 and Playstation VR:

Previously, Sony refused to participate in E3 2023 and announced that she will show her new products this year at “hundreds of consumer events around the world.”
Probably, PAX East 2023 is not the last event that Sony will miss because of the situation with the coronavirus.
