“Someone needs to do this” – Mortal Kombat creator would like to see Virtua Fighter restart

Coauthor Mortal kombatgame designer Ed boone, admitted that he is a fan of the once-famous Virtua Fighter series of fighting games from the company Sega and would like to see her restart. The developer announced this to his subscribers in Twitter.

“Someone needs to restart Virtua Fighter,” co-author Mortal Kombat tweeted.

The Virtua Fighter series of fighting games started in 1993 and currently has five games in the main line, the last of which Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdownwas released in 2010. The studio was responsible for the development of the franchise Sega-am2 and game designer Yu Suzuki.

Sega did not respond to Boone’s message.
